We are seeking a commercially strong Property Manager to join a leading retailer. The Property Manager will focus on execution, pipeline development and site delivery. Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in retail property acquisition or development within large-format food retail environments
- Demonstrated experience sourcing sites nationally, including travel to and exposure within rural and outlying areas
- Strong understanding of South Africa’s geographic, demographic and retail landscape
- Solid experience in lease negotiations, deal structuring and landlord engagement
- Strong financial acumen, including feasibility analysis, yield calculations and ROI modelling
- Working knowledge of legal aspects of lease agreements and property contracts
- Established network within developers, landlords, brokers and property funds
- A relevant degree (Property, Commerce or related field) is essential
- Exposure to construction or development processes would be advantageous
