Our client, an established, successful market leader is looking for a Managing Director to lead the operation’s overall business strategy and operations, driving sustainable growth, profitability and operational excellence while building a collaborative, accountable team culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement business strategy, identify growth opportunities and expand market share.
- Oversee daily operations, quality, productivity, costs and departmental performance against KPIs.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, financial reporting and cost-control initiatives to ensure profitability.
- Lead, develop and mentor the management team and employees, fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Maintain key client relationships, develop new business and represent the company in negotiations and industry engagements.
- Make sound, timely decisions and resolve operational or business challenges effectively.
- Ensure business processes support efficient workflows, consistent service and compliance with relevant requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant degree + minimum 10 years’ senior management experience with full P & L responsibility, preferably in manufacturing or an industrial environment.
- Strong operational leadership and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy that drives growth and profitability.
- Hands-on, commercially-minded leader with strong interpersonal skills, resilience and a high level of personal accountability.
