Lead Operations Across a Premium Restaurant Group
An established group of high-end restaurants in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to oversee and manage the daily performance of multiple busy venues.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for an accomplished hospitality professional who can run operations independently, drive efficiency, and maintain the highest service standards while working closely with the owners.
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen or valid South African work permit holder
- Minimum 10 years’ senior management experience in top restaurant groups or five-star hotels
- Proven ability to lead large teams (700+ staff) across multiple venues
- Strong background in operations, financial management, systems, and staff development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Mature, organised, and capable of managing a high-performance environment
- Hands-on management style with attention to detail and accountability
Duties
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all venues
- Lead and mentor management teams, ensuring operational excellence
- Implement and maintain systems, standards, and efficiencies
- Monitor financial performance and cost controls
- Ensure strong communication and alignment between teams and ownership
- Support strategic planning, growth, and continuous improvement
- Uphold brand consistency, guest experience, and service standards
