Head Chef (Fine Dining & Bespoke Events)
Location: Boutique Estate, KZN

We are seeking a versatile Head Chef to take creative leadership of the kitchen at an award-winning boutique estate. This is a culinary and guest-facing position; with the support of an on-site Stock Control and Credit Manager who handles all kitchen administration and paperwork.
Our ideal candidate is a culinary all-rounder who can execute delicate seasonal tasting menus, oversee large bespoke weddings, and demonstrates solid capability in pastry.
Minimum Requirements
•Recognized formal culinary arts qualification
•5+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a five-star lodge, luxury boutique hotel, or fine dining establishment
•Technical mastery across fine-dining plate execution, wedding banqueting logistics, and pastry production
•Polished communication style with the confidence to interact directly with estate guests
•Willingness to relocate to a country estate environment
Key Duties
•Design and execute innovative, seasonally driven five-course fine dining tasting menus
•Oversee kitchen logistics, prep, and plating for high-end bespoke weddings and corporate events
•Manage or directly produce high-quality artisanal breads, pastries, and fine desserts
•Interact with estate guests to discuss menus and manage specialized dietary requirements
•Train and mentor the kitchen team while enforcing strict food safety and hygiene standards
