An exciting opportunity awaits an accomplished hospitality professional to oversee a collection/portfolio of luxury boutique hotels and villas in Cape Town’s most sought-after neighborhoods (Sea Point, Fresnaye, Camps Bay, Bantry Bay, and Three Anchor Bay). We are seeking a dynamic, personable, and highly organized General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations, ensuring world-class guest experiences, exceptional service standards, and sustainable business growth.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years’ senior management experience in luxury boutique hotels, guesthouses, or villas
- Proven success in operations, guest relations, and financial management
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams across multiple properties
- Proficiency in property management systems (RoomRacoon preferred) and MS Office
- Solid knowledge of food, wine, and F&B operations
- Own reliable transport and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Duties
- Oversee daily operations across all properties, ensuring seamless service and brand consistency
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience, personally engaging with guests and handling feedback
- Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a professional, service-driven team
- Maintain property standards, supplier relationships, and compliance with regulations
- Support marketing, brand positioning, and guest communications to grow occupancy and loyalty
