A well-regarded and established wealth advisory practice is looking to appoint an Associate Financial Planner to join their Cape Town team.
This opportunity is suited to a developing financial planning professional who enjoys working closely with clients and is looking to take the next step towards managing their own client relationships, while continuing to build both their technical expertise and advisory capability.
What you’ll be involved in:
You will play an active role in client engagements, supporting and gradually leading discussions while building trusted, long-term relationships. On the technical side, you will be involved in financial analysis, investment reviews, and compiling detailed, tailored financial plans across various planning areas.
As you grow in the role, you will start managing your own clients, conducting review meetings, implementing recommendations, and ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery. You will also be involved in ongoing client support, ensuring all advice and processes align with regulatory and internal standards.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience in financial planning
- BCom degree
- RE5 qualification
- BCom Honours in Financial Planning or Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning
- CFP® designation advantageous (or currently working towards it)
- Strong technical ability with good analytical skills
- Confident communicator with a client-centric approach
- Professional, organised, and detail-oriented
