A respected specialist legal practice is seeking an experienced Banking & Finance Attorney to join its growing team.
The successful candidate will be involved in a range of sophisticated finance matters, including structured lending transactions, acquisition finance, secured lending facilities, trade-related funding arrangements, and property-backed finance deals. This role is suited to someone with genuine transactional exposure rather than a litigation or administrative banking background.
We are specifically seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years PQE gained within a recognised large law firm or leading international practice.
Requirements:
- LLB degree essential (BCom LLB advantageous)
- Admitted Attorney with relevant post-admission experience
- Key experience required:
- Strong banking & finance background within a top-tier or international firm
- Proven experience in leveraged finance transactions
- Exposure to asset-based lending matters
- Solid understanding of trade finance structures and documentation
- Experience advising lenders, borrowers, sponsors or corporates on complex domestic and cross-border matters
- Ability to manage transactions confidently and work directly with clients
