Spa Receptionist

An established luxury hotel and spa in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a warm, polished and organised Spa Receptionist to join its busy spa team.

As the first point of contact, you will welcome guests, manage treatment bookings and enquiries, coordinate therapist schedules and ensure the smooth running of reception. This is a busy, guest-facing position requiring excellent communication, strong administration and the ability to multitask while maintaining a professional and welcoming manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist spa guests, ensuring a warm and professional arrival experience.

• Manage treatment bookings, appointments and enquiries by phone, email and in person.

• Coordinate therapist schedules and treatment room availability.

• Provide guests with information on treatments, packages and spa facilities.

• Process payments and manage daily reception administration.

• Liaise with therapists and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

• Maintain an organised, professional and welcoming reception environment.

About You

• Previous reception or guest relations experience, ideally within a luxury spa, hotel or hospitality environment.

• A warm, friendly and polished manner with excellent communication skills.

• Strong organisational, administrative and multitasking abilities.

• Confident with booking systems, payments and Microsoft Office.

• Micros experience would be advantageous.

• Calm, professional and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

• Reliable, personable and committed to excellent guest service.

• Flexible and available to work rotational shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• A hospitality, spa or office administration qualification would be advantageous.

Working Hours

This is a seven-day hospitality operation with rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
