Minimum Qualifications:
- Matric and related tertiary qualification
- Background in clothing manufacturing and production
- Strong people management skills

Responsibilities:
- Manage factory
- Improve production efficiencies
- Oversee HR
- Develop new policies and strategies for the business
- Forge long term relationships with customers and suppliers
- Oversee the sales, procurement and operations side of the business

Our client is looking for an experienced New Business Development Manager with previous experience working in the Foundry Industry.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of sales and contacts of Ferrous and non-Ferrous Castings in the mining industry, sugar industry, tyre and rubber industry, shipping, paper and pulp industry, boiler industry and crusher industry to name a few.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric and relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 8 years Foundry Sales experience
- Proven Foundry Sales track record and references
- Technically and mechanically minded
- Hunter type personality
- Natural networker
- Target driven
- Willing to travel into Africa
- Advanced Excel
- Driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Sales
- Deal sourcing across all industry sectors as per business strategy
- Meeting specified targets
- Presentation of products and services to clients
- Client retention, including service and feedback to entire existing base of clients
- Being a connector and an “enabler” for the clients
- Awareness of and adherence to confidentiality at all times
- Travel into Africa to meet with clients and close deals

Our client is looking for a bright, energetic, sales hungry individual with good commercial aptitude to join their team as a Business Development Manager in the Pharmaceutical Packaging industry.
The goal is to dominate the marketplace through transforming perception of product from a commodity to a value-add concept where the product is the most easily identifiable manifestation of the value-add. The role is structured to facilitate entrepreneurial action.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Sales and Marketing
- At least 5 years in Business Development – plastic packaging would be a distinct advantage
- Pharmaceutical packaging sales background advantageous
- Proven sales track record
- Technically minded, willing to understand the manufacturing process
- Commercial experience
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Target driven, self-starter
- Driver’s license and own car
Duties
- Be fully familiar with the manufacturing process for the relevant products
- Master the multiple interfaces between product, customer need and market experience
- Build and maintain current knowledge of competitor
- Negotiate sales contracts
- Develop respectful relationships at all levels within the customer organization
- Own the fulfillment promise of each contract in both the spirit and the law
- Continuously adapt both the contract and relationship imperatives to emerging circumstances
- Engage with both customer and our manufacturing units to innovate along the entire value chain
- Maintain a current, accurate reliable data base using our mandated systems
- Have a good understanding of costings and margin analyses as per the group standards
- Actively develop and source new business opportunities in chosen market segments
