We are looking for an R&D Technologist to join a successful business in Durban.
The R&D Technologist will guide and assist the development team in addition to conduct product development and proactive innovation, ensuring food safety, quality and regulatory compliance in addition to project management principles and driving product life cycle management.
Key Qualifications and Requirements
- BSc Food Science or Diploma in Food Technology
- 4+ years Development experience (Baking preferred)
- SACB certificate in theory of Baking (preferred)
- 2+ years Ingredient Technology and Application
- Regulatory compliance knowledge and Ingredient Functionality
- Functional baking process knowledge
- Note: Chamber of baking certification can be obtained if not completed
