Solar Sales Rep – Durban

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Solar Sales Rep with a strong sense of community to join our clients successful company in the solar energy sector.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales or a related field
• Strong network in businesses that could be influenced for residential solar installations (estate agents, property developers etc.)
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in the solar industry is an advantage but not mandatory
• Exposure to CRM tools and Social Media for marketing
• Extremely organised with exceptional pipeline management
• Own vehicle essential and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• Achieving monthly sales targets
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
• Conducting product presentations/demonstrations to potential customers/businesses
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Managing all promotional activities
• Collecting and analysing data to provide valuable insights on the region
• Aware of regional activity and “touch points” via social media platforms
• Site visits and the conclusion of the sale
• Ongoing referral engagement and activation

Remuneration: Is dependent on skill level and experience
