Packaging Plant Engineer (Paper Industry) – Durban

Based: Durban

Qualifications & Experience

• NHD or higher in Mechanical Engineering preferred (BSc electrical or electronic engineering may be considered where experience is highly relevant)
• Knowledge of legal compliance and ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001
• Applied knowledge of Lean Principles (TMP, RCM).
• Applied knowledge of maintenance management and philosophies

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage & lead a team of 24 employees (artisans, technicians, planner & foreman)
• Ensure maximum plant availability
• Plant optimization (continuous improvement)
• Control maintenance budget
