Financial Advisor/Paraplanner – Kloof, Durban

Our client in the financial services (wealth management) industry is looking for a dynamic Financial Advisor to join their well respected team in Kloof.  The successful candidate will begin their journey as a senior Paraplanner for a 1-year period to then move onto the Financial Planner role.

Requirements:

• Matric and degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning
• At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in the Financial Planning industry
• Thorough understanding of current FICA / FAIS legislation
• Working knowledge of legislation relating to investments, retirement planning and estate planning
• Strong analysis skills to facilitate the identification of needs and the matching of appropriate solutions
• Remain up to date with legislation and new products and compliance in these areas
• A track record of sales / negotiation skills and the ability able to develop and maintain a network of clients and prospective clients
• Sound computer skills (Excel, Word, Email, Financial Planning software (e.g. Xplan))
•  Own car essential

Salary will be market related and based on experience.
