Introduction
We are looking for a candidate to perform a Utilities Administrator and Co-ordinator role in a busy property management company. This role would suit a candidate with good experience overseeing the utility infrastructure for commercial (specifically retail).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Control all the all the utility accounts i.e. electricity, water, and sewer, prepaid meters, bulk check meters and utility recoveries
- Engage/log issues and liaise with meter readers/council to resolution and attend to tenant issues
- Open/close accounts on acquisitions/disposals
- Review an upload the transactions captured on MDA for utilities both expense and recovery for accuracy to identify any transactions that require attention
- Prepare reports
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- Min 3 years’ experience as a utility’s administrator
- Experience with meter readers and Utility Management Companies.
- Excellent MS Excel (Formulas; tables, pivots, charts) – ESSENTIAL
- Experience in MDA
- Valid Driver’s license
