Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Gauteng. As will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving targets in the contract electronic manufacturing sector. This remote position requires a self-motivated individual who thrives on closing deals and generating new business in the contract electronic manufacturing sector.
Qualifications:
- Matric and Tertiary qualification
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the electronics or manufacturing sector
- Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Technical aptitude to understand and communicate complex product information
- Passionate about driving success and motivated by commissions and incentives
- A proactive approach with a hunter mentality towards sales
- Own car – essential
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the contract electronic manufacturing market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborate with the technical engineer on-site for support and to ensure seamless communication between clients and our technical team
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and opportunities for growth
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from lead generation to deal closure
- Track sales metrics and report on performance against targets
