Our client, a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider is looking for a dynamic New Business Development Manager, with a proven electronic manufacturing sales track record to be based in Johannesburg. Their range of services extend from prototyping to complete box assembly and full turnkey solutions. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of the following markets in which our client operates – Automotive, Aerospace, Automation, Defence Systems, Communication Systems, Tracking Systems, Domestic and Industrial Security Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Marketing, Communications, Light Current Electronics , Electrical Engineering
- Syspro
- Advanced Excel
- Willing to travel nationally
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years sales experience in electronics manufacturing or industrial electronics
- Technical knowledge of different types of products, services, technologies and processes within the electronics industry
- Knowledge of plant capability and machine specifications
- Proven track record of exceeding targets and budgets
- Experience with contract manufacturing
- Superior analytical skills
- Communication and Presentation skills
- Ability to conceptualise
- Passion and innate curiosity for all things tech
- 2 years Marketing and Brand Building experience with working knowledge of Digital Marketing, through Social Media

- Analyse existing accounts, their performance and further maximise the business from the customer
