Full-time, permanent, on-site (Hybrid Work Allowed – on occasion) | Durban
Our client is a growing technology company building modern, real-time platforms to streamline operations and communication for businesses. They’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who brings technical leadership, deep full-stack experience, and the ability to own feature delivery from concept to production. This is a strategic, high-accountability role where you’ll help shape architecture, uphold development standards, and bring new ideas to improve the platform — all while staying hands-on and focused on high-quality delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Expert-level skills in React (JavaScript/TypeScript), HTML, CSS
- Strong backend development in .NET 6/7/8 and REST APIs
- Deep experience with SQL Server, performance tuning, and complex queries
- Proven Azure experience (App Services, Blob Storage, DevOps pipelines)
- Comfortable leading feature delivery independently and end-to-end
- Committed to testing discipline and maintaining a clean, maintainable codebase
- Proactive, strategic thinker with the confidence to challenge and improve conventions
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting or integrating mobile applications (Flutter/Dart)
- Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or WhatsApp API
- Background in operational or high-availability systems environments
- Experience mentoring developers or setting coding standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of features across frontend (React) and backend (.NET)
- Lead delivery from estimation through development, testing, and deployment
- Maintain and integrate APIs supporting a companion mobile app
- Uphold coding standards, review peers’ code, and contribute to architectural decisions
- Collaborate with UAT testers, resolve complex issues, and close feedback loops
- Manage Azure deployments and troubleshoot production environments
- Continuously improve systems, processes, and team velocity
- Contribute to sprint planning and play a key role in shaping the product roadmap
