Exciting opportunity has come about for an experience Area Manager for a busy upmarket franchise. This person will be responsible for overseeing the operations of four restaurants – two located in Hillcrest and two in Umhlanga. This includes ensuring consistent service quality, driving operational efficiency, and leading teams to achieve financial goals. The Area Manager will work closely with store owners to improve performance, implement head office policies, and maintain high standards of customer service.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Grade 12 and a Diploma or relevant qualification in restaurant business management (or have worked as a Store Manager for at least two years with excellent results or another food and beverage group for at least 3 years in a managerial capacity)
- Car and driving licence preferable due to the location of the restaurants
- Clear credit and criminal records
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor daily operations, upholding company standards for quality, service, cleanliness, and safety
- Conduct daily site visits to ensure operational efficiency, troubleshoot problems, and support restaurant managers with operational challenges. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all locations
- Lead, train, and support restaurant managers to foster a positive work environment and improve team performance. Assist in hiring, training, and developing teams and staff
- Ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction across all locations. Address and resolve customer complaints or issues that arise in a timely manner
