Specialist component manufacturer supplying to the industrial, engineering and furniture sector (and many more sectors!) is looking for a results driven Regional Technical Sales Executive to be based in KZN.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, able to work the region independently whilst obtaining and maintaining long term key customers.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric and relevant tertiary qualification in business or related field
- 5 years minimum experience as a Technical Sales Representative
- A background in automotive components, medical and various mobility manufacturing sectors would be advantageous
- Experience with conducting presentations to clients
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Figure orientated
- A proven sales track record with references to reaching targets
- Own car essential with a valid and unendorsed driver’s license
- Clear criminal record
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
- Expand on the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions
- Focus on delivering exceptional service and products to customers in a timely manner
- Constant communication to customers and internal teams to ensure all parties have the latest updates on deliverables
- Ensure correct products are delivered on time to customers
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Cold calling and on-boarding new customers
- Achieve set sales targets
- Expedite and solve customer queries and problems
- Analyse the market and territory always improving on sales
- Ensure Management is aware of competitors, latest trends and changes in the market
