Our client, a leading player in the insurance sector, is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing sales team (Broker Consultants) in the Cape Town region. The ideal candidate must be ready to lead from the front and grow a region through strategic sales management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Life Insurance industry
- At least 2 years’ experience leading a successful sales team (Broker Consultants)
- Insurance qualification (RE1, RE5, CFP, or similar) is advantageous
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Business-savvy, Excel-competent, and target-driven
- Must be a South African citizen
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with business goals
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Business Developers (Broker Consultants) to exceed targets
- Manage key accounts and drive adviser retention
- Monitor performance and lead monthly team reviews
- Identify and act on new market and sales opportunities
- Ensure sales targets are met while benchmarking regional productivity
