Professional Quantity Surveyor – Cape Town

Exciting Opportunity: Professional Quantity Surveyor to Lead Cape Town Branch

A well-established Quantity Surveying firm is expanding! Our client is opening a new office in Cape Town, and we’re looking for a driven and experienced Professional Quantity Surveyor to spearhead this exciting venture. The role will be Remote/Site to start.

You will be required to manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, including:

  • Cost Management and Estimation
  • Contract Administration
  • Project Financial Management
  • Risk Management
  • Tendering Process
  • Site visits and Inspections
  • Client and Stakeholder Liaison

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Professional registration with SACQSP or RICS
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience post SACQSP registration date, preferably in the South African construction industry
  • Experience in commercial, hotels, retail and industrial sectors
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control principles, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. MS Office, WinQS, DimX)
