Exciting Opportunity: Professional Quantity Surveyor to Lead Cape Town Branch
A well-established Quantity Surveying firm is expanding! Our client is opening a new office in Cape Town, and we’re looking for a driven and experienced Professional Quantity Surveyor to spearhead this exciting venture. The role will be Remote/Site to start.
You will be required to manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, including:
- Cost Management and Estimation
- Contract Administration
- Project Financial Management
- Risk Management
- Tendering Process
- Site visits and Inspections
- Client and Stakeholder Liaison
Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Professional registration with SACQSP or RICS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience post SACQSP registration date, preferably in the South African construction industry
- Experience in commercial, hotels, retail and industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control principles, and industry standards
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. MS Office, WinQS, DimX)
