We need a motivated and energetic Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead a team and keep a workshop running at full speed. You’ll be in charge of organizing the daily operations, ensuring deadlines are met, and that quality is top-notch. Minimum qualifications:
- Mechanical certification (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role with solid leadership skills
- Expertise in Welding, Machining, Diesel Mechanics, and Fleet Management
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and team motivation skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent references
- Valid Passport
- Clear Criminal record
- Sober habits
- Good health – medicals will need to be conducted
- Unendorsed Driving license
- This role is ideally suited to a single person
- This is a 2-year working Visa contract which could be extended depending on your performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage job allocation, schedules, and team workload
- Coordinate resources, from people to materials, to get the job done right
- Assist with quoting, purchasing, and quality checks
- Keep track of progress and report any delays to management
- Provide technical advice and solve issues as they arise
- Investigate fleet issues and find solutions with the team
- Train and develop team members for ongoing growth
- Promote a safe, positive work environment
Remuneration:
Basic Salary Approx R35,000.00 + Fully Furnished Accommodation + Utilities + Company Vehicle + Fuel + Mobile Phone + Medical Plan + one ticket home annually
