We are seeking an experienced and solutions driven engineering MD to oversee manufacturing operations of a well-established business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing IATF 16949 manufacturing processes, optimizing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The MD will play a key role in shaping the company’s operational strategy and ensuring the achievement of production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably Post Graduate qualification in Commerce or Business Management
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the manufacturing industry, with at least 10 years of experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. IATF 16949 QMS experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial management
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving. Advanced Excel competency
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in manufacturing
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
