Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Landscape Installation Manager to join their team and work on numerous landscaping projects at prominent hotels on various islands.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Qualification in landscaping Design / Horticulture
- Experience and knowledge of plants, horticulture and landscape design principles
- Proven experience in landscape and irrigation installations (references)
- Ability to read, interpret and implement detailed landscape and irrigation design drawings
- Experience is managing landscape projects from start to finish
- Leadership and team management skills
- Well presented with excellent communication and client consultation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work in extreme heat and humidity
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Clear criminal record
- Sober habits
- Excellent references
- This position will suit a single person and requires a good level of physical fitness
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of landscape installations and irrigation systems
- Supervise nursery operations, including plant selection, propagation and maintenance
- Plan, coordinate and oversee multiple landscape projects simultaneously
- Lead, train and manage staff to ensure efficient project execution
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide expert consultation
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget with the highest quality standards
- Report to Directors regarding project progress and issues
- Maintain a hands on approach, assisting where necessary to ensure smooth operations
The company will be responsible for your plane ticket from South Africa to Seychelles and from Seychelles to South Africa at the end of your 2 years contract and GOP work Visa. (Economy class).
Own accommodation, company vehicle and medical insurance will be provided.
Salary: approx R35 000.00
Working hours: Monday – Saturday, 07:00-16:00
