We are looking for a Building Compliance Operations Manager to oversee adherence and ensure compliance with all statutory and estate-based regulations and rules governing all construction, upgrade and repairs activities, whether initiated by residents or by the HOA Board. This role is also responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the estate’s bulk service infrastructure.
A good understanding of the following is required:
- Environmental issues
- Statutory requirements in the construction industry
- Issues affecting residential communities
- Architectural drawings and building plans
- Architectural software (e.g. CAD)
- Health and Safety
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Preference for prior experience in large scale residential environment
- Any drafting or construction qualification or course would be an advantage
- Basic IT skills – MS desktop programmes. (e.g. MS Word, Excel)
- Advantage to have architectural software skills (CAD)
- Good technical ability on construction sites and estates in general
- Negotiation skills – especially with potential contractors
- Good interpersonal skills – necessary in dealing with residents, service providers and Trustees (Stakeholders)
