Our client a National Retailer is looking for a DC Warehouse Manager for their smaller Cape Town DC. The ideal candidate must efficiently manage the inbound and outbound storage, and distribution of stock within the supply chain to the geographical customer base serviced by the distribution centre (11 Stores), ensuring a supply of stock on time in full whilst delivering excellent customer service within a set budget.
Minimum Requirements:
- A 3-year Supply Chain Degree/ Accounting Degree.
- 5-10 years of experience in a warehouse/logistics environment, with a minimum of 5 years managing a large warehouse as a Warehouse Manager or DC Manager.
- Proven ability to manage a large team of staff (60-200)
- Proficiency in reading, understanding, and influencing a PnL.
- Expertise in WMS systems with RF scanning.
- 5 years of continuous improvement experience.
- Ability to operate in a pressurized environment and demonstrate strong operational skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Clear Criminal Record
- Unendorsed Driver’s License
- Good References
