Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee day-to-day operations in South Africa. This role requires a leader with extensive experience in logistics, clearing, forwarding, and supply chain management, who can drive operational excellence, optimize processes, and align the team with strategic goals.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Proven leadership in senior roles such as COO, Operations Director, or General Manager.
- Expertise in customs regulations, trade compliance, and freight management.
- Strong strategic thinking and hands-on operational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all operational functions, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and warehousing.
- Drive business growth by developing and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Manage budgets, financial planning, and cost control to support the company’s objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and collaborate with key stakeholders.
